Just as how you'd exercise regularly to keep physically fit, at TRYVE, we see therapy and counselling as ways to keep yourself MENTALLY fit.

About: SAMH provides counselling for both individuals and families.

Cost: In-person donation-based counselling sessions are available. Sessions may be free if your finances are tight. Appointments required. 

Hours: Weekdays only, from 9am – 1pm, 2pm – 6pm. Evening counselling on Wednesdays from 6pm-9pm. 

Best for: Children, Teens, Adults, Couples 


About: Safe Expanse believes in creating a safe space in which the “self” can be explored and expanded leading to a sense of greater flexibility and freedom to take actions that improves their quality of life. They also believe in working with clients to build positive social connections in their lives to set them up for longer-term mental wellness beyond the therapy room.

Hours: Both online and face-to-face sessions available, by appointment only.

A helpline for women


Contact:  1800-777 5555 (Free helpline run by women, for women)

About: AWARE is a gender-equality advocacy group that helps women fight discrimination and other issues.

Cost: 2% of your salary per session if you earn more than $3,000 per month. If your salary is less or you are not working, it will be $35 per session.

sexual assault and harassment cases through the Sexual Assault Care Centre, are free for the first 3 sessions.

Hours: Weekdays only, from 9am – 1pm, 2pm – 6pm. Evening counselling on Wednesdays from 6pm-9pm.

About: The oldest counselling centre in Singapore, est. 1966.

Cost: $40 to $170 per hour for Singaporean/PR earning $9, 500 monthly and below (full rate at $200 per hour) 

Hours: Mondays & Wednesdays: 9am - 9pm (last appt at 8pm), Tuesday - Friday: 9am-6pm
